I believe it was part of the original talks around using the park, that we would have the Field House and its facilities at our disposal. However, there was some racket issue of needing all kinds of personnel present at various times that made it prohibitively expensive, like incredibly so.
BTW, on that topic: major shout-out to Yoshi's across the street, who we regularly patronized and who let us use their bathrooms whenever we wanted, and got our large parties of actors in and out of there with separate checks paid on a billion credit cards in record time, every time.
