Maybe "glad" was poor word choice. I like Trader Joe's for the many things they do well, but my preference for "another option" would be to expand our food-buying ecosystem with a different vendor, not yet another instance of the same corporation, even though it would be more convenient for me to stroll there in 10 minutes instead of hustle there in 25. I'm not thrilled by having a Whole Foods every two-three miles either.
