It's primative tool-making we have to watch out for. I saw one leverage a a cereal box onto the floor by stepping on spoon spoon wedged underneath it. I think it's already begun...
I've been looking on the links people posted above, and it cracks me up that they're refered to as Polycats. (http://www.thecatgallery.com/polydactyl_cats.html) It makes me wonder that, if I adopt one, they might only choose me as their secondary. :-)
