Found: set of keys and mini-wallet attached to purple carabiner

I found a set of keys in the Zipcar(Matrix Monahan, at Elmwood St Bikepath) I was using tonight. If they're yours, get in touch with me with further identifying info(what else is attached to the keychain, what was in the wallet, etc) and I'll arrange to get them back to you.

Well, I'm not sure how long they had been there. They weren't sitting right out in the open. I did leave a post on the lost and found board there too. If nobody replies in the next day or so, I'll get ahold of zipcar and see what they can do.

Agreed. If I'd left something in a Zipcar, the first thing I would do would be to go back to the car to check (there's a three hour period after your rental in which your card will still open the car, for just this reason), and the next thing I would do would be to call Zipcar.

You might also check with the police and see if anyone has reported their keys/wallet missing.

Jeez people, it was 11PM on a sunday night. What do you want from me? Nobody had been using that car for the hour before I did, so if the key-loser had immediately realized they were missing, they would probably have already been back and found them.

There was no identifying info in the wallet, so Zipcar couldn't do much for me when I called them today. They told me to put the keys back in the car in the glovebox(which is apparently their lost/found policy... I didn't know it at the time, having never dealt with a lost or found item in this context before.) I'll do that when I get home tonight. Not sure what else I can do here.

I'm surprised. I'd expect Zipcar to phone the last few users of the car before you and say (or leave a message) that these things were found in the car. Zipcar surely has a phone number on file for each of their users.
