FYI: I attended the Climate Commission meeting last night, and in addition to this event where we start to discuss the issues of what we think would be important in our community in a changing climate, they will also be forming working groups of folks on specific topics.
For example, transportation. Buildings and energy. Health. Green space. Etc. And over the next year those groups will be forming specific discussions/strategy tools that will go into the city-wide assessments. If you have special skills on any of the topics (there will be 7, but I forgot them all--come to this first meeting to hear more), they would especially cherish your participation over the longer term with this effort as well.
We have wicked smart and knowledgable neighbors. Let's align on getting this done.
