Penzey's Spices at 1283 Mass Ave in Arlington Heights has an amazing selection, although they are kind of expensive. The 77 and 79 buses stop near the front door. And it's only a couple of blocks from Trader Joe's, for some other stuff. We buy our dried fruit and nuts at TJ.
