best dentists for complicated fillings?

I just got back from my first cleaning since before the pandemic, and learned that I have a cavity in the root of one of my molars that will evidently be complicated to fill. I like my dentist okay, but I want to do absolutely everything I can to avoid the filling failing and needing to get a crown.

Who are the best dentists in the area for this sort of thing?

I've done all my dental at MGH Dental Group (in the plaza next to MGH, unsurprisingly) for more than two decades. I figure that if it's good enough for the hospital staff, it's good enough for me! (Seriously, they are fantastic, but getting an appointment may be hard...)
