YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU
Kaufman & Hart's Pulitzer-winning comedy
Directed by Matt Kimmel

Set in New York City at the end of the Depression, the play focuses on the eccentric Vanderhof family. Wackiness ensues when their daughter, Alice, falls in love with Tony, the son of a conservative Wall Street family. A zany comedy full of romance and hilarity, You Can't Take It With You examines the difference between success and happiness.

We need the bottom half of a ballerina's dance rehearsal outfit.

-A traditional dance skirt made out of a heavy enough fabric so as to not be see through, at least knee length or longer http://www.discountdance.com/image/419x450/276.jpg

-A pair of woven leggings (legwarmers that go all the way up to the waist, basically) http://www.discountdance.com/image/419x450/01.jpg

-A liturgical dance dress http://www.discountdance.com/image/419x450/c7401.jpg

-Even a pair of palazzo pants http://www.discountdance.com/image/419x450/86210.jpg

Please comment if you have anything vaguely like any of these from your days of dance classes or yoga. We'll be eternally grateful for a temporary loan or tax-deductable donation!

I have a skirt that looks like this

that I could loan

Alternatively, I also have a long black dress with a boatneck, 3/4 sleeves, and a very full skirt that I have used for performances. Not exactly the liturgical dress you're looking for, but a decent facisimile thereof.

Boy, I was offline all day and missed all this. I'm glad it worked out, anyway. A skirt of Carolyn's would never fit me. :)

Thanks!
