I'm involved in a photoshoot for spread about gay pride and I need LOTS of Rainbow/Pride/Gay schwag..and I don't have enough! Do you have something I could borrow for an afternoon, return to you in excellent condition, and thank you profusely for letting me use as well as seeing your beloved stuff in print? The spread is supposed to be humorous [but in good taste and non-homophobic or otherwise offensive], so I'm looking for things that scream GAY GAY GAY.
I am looking for:
-Anything rainbow--beads, necklaces, leis, bandanas, clothing items that will fit a fat body, hats, scarves, sweaters, a Pride flag would be AWESOME. The more unusual the better--umbrellas/parasols, little flags, streamers, sunglasses, visors, blinky flashy things, boas. Additionally, if you have any of this stuff in wacky/tacky/screaming colors...that's cool, too.
-T-shirts from Pride's past; Boston or other locales.
-fanny packs
-big lanyards for keys
-Birkenstocks or other sandals
-Stuff bearing slogans from gay places like P-town, NoHo, or San Fran...or from well-known gay businesses.
-Things that aren't rainbow-y or directly pride related, but let the world know that they are indeed items of a homosexual persuasion. ;)
If I can convince the photographer, I might be looking for a doggie that can be photographed wearing some pride schwag, too....
I can't gurantee that your stuff will make it into the pictures or the mag, as that's at the sole discretion of the photographer and the stylist...but the gaudier, the better.
I can pick up or you can drop off with me Monday or Tuesday.
