"A squirrel got into a piece of equipment on a pole. Unfortunately, it happens from time to time," said NSTAR spokesperson Caroline Allen. "About 1,200 customers were effected."
A summer or two ago, East Arlington was having power outages -- very short ones, just a couple of minutes, but just long enough to cost us several hundred dollars in computer equipment -- every day at right around 6am.
Wow, they really did say "... customers were effected" in the paper. Bad proofreader, no biscuit, but it made me laugh and try to imagine what that would actually be like :)
