in need of an event location
Jul. 19th, 2006 05:59 pmHi all,
My studio is hosting an AIGA AFTA party in late August (it's a collection of designers from all over the city who come together in the name of good conversation, free appetizers and drinks that cost too much), and I'm looking to find a location for it.
The qualifications:
Must be able to accomodate under-21 folk;
Must be able to accomodate a pretty decent crowd (the one I went to was 50-80 people easy);
Must be reasonably accessible by public transit;
Must have decent vegetarian food.
Any thoughts? I greatly appreciate your help.

Date: 2006-07-20 02:28 pm (UTC)I recently had to arrange a dinner for 30 people and we had it at Greenfields Brazilian Churrascaria on Brighton Ave in Allston/Brighton. It's absolutely enormous and they can set aside a whole area for your group. A few people were vegetarians and they were totally content with the veggie options at the salad bar and buffet. http://www.greenfieldchurrascaria.com/
The other idea, is that if you don't get a lot of good leads here, you could try posting at this question at chowhound:
