OFFER: free computer monitor...
Jul. 23rd, 2006 04:51 pmI hope this kind of post is allowed here - this thing's been just sitting on our table for months now, and I'd love to give it to someone who can use it for more than a tablecloth anchor.
This is an HP Pavilion mx70 monitor. You can see it here.
The plastic base is cracked, but it still stands upright just fine, and this does not affect the function at all. Still worked perfectly last time we used it.
Available for pickup on the Porter-end of Elm Street any time today (Sunday) or possibly some evening this week. It's pretty heavy, so you might want to pick up in a car if you're as weak as I am.
Comment here or email my username @livejournal.com for directions and to arrange a time!
(Crossposted to Freecycle; if you're on that list, sorry you're seeing this again.)

Date: 2006-07-23 09:05 pm (UTC)When could you come by? I'm at 63 Elm. If you're familiar with the neighborhood, it's the house with the big ant on the roof. :)
People still use monitors?
Date: 2006-07-24 05:24 pm (UTC)If you missed out on that one, I have a 17" Sony Trinitron monitor I was planning on recycling this week. Works perfectly, no damage -- just too big for me to take to NYC. Any takers? Same general location -- Cedar St, near Elm.
