I know some of you must have seen the sticker on the Elm Street Bank of America ATM door by now (something about some contagious thing?). Anyone know what the hell that is?

I think sometime last week I was going to go in right after some guy was taking a camera phone picture of it to take to the branch around the corner so that they knew it was there.

But I have no idea what happened with that or what it is--it certainly doesn't look like anything legitimate, but I'm still really curious since it's still there. Does anyone know anything else about it?

For those of us who haven't yet seen it... huh?

The sticker in question.

After reading this LJ post, I walked by the ATM to take a look. Someone tried to peel it off but only managed to remove the very bottom.

If it were real, don't you think they would have locked the door and turned off the ATMs?

true that. even the thought of it, though, was a little chilling.

"Viral Ennuisitisis Syndrome B"

Since "ennui" is French for boredom, it's an obvious spoof.

Mild ennui is indeed contagious. We should all keep alert.
