Room for rent available August/Sept

davis_squareWe are a professional alternative (goth/freak/bi/poly friendly) household. It is a good group of people living here who like to keep internal psychodrama to a minimum. Useful skills we look for in a roommate include ability to put dishes in the dishwasher, confine messes to own room, being pet friendly, knowing how to work out problems like an adult, and generally not being a jerk.
The house is a beautiful recently renovated Victorian 2 blocks from the Davis Square T station (Somerville, MA). We have off street parking, central heating, central air, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hardwood floors, and a hot tub. The room is on the second floor with bay windows and a walk in closet. All utilities except long distance are included, that means heat, central A/C, electric, cable TV, and broadband internet via a wireless network.
As mentioned above you should be pet friendly. As of September we will have 2 parrots, 1 dog, and 1 or 2 cats sharing the house with us. So while pet friendly is good, but bring more pets of your own might make for crowding.
Rent is not cheap at $900/mo, but with all utilities, washer, dryer, off street parking and a hot tub included, you won't find anything nearly this nice for the price. The room will be available September 1st, however another room will temporarily free up on August 2nd, so if you don't mind switching rooms you can move in the 2nd of August.
