Yet another roommate posting.

We are looking a third housemate for a two level house off of Highland Ave. Rent is 400/month plus ¼ of utilities. Who’s we you ask? We are two poly/geek/queer friendly women; a 34 year old programmer and a 24 year old teacher/translator/recent grad school survivor. Both of us are laid back, fairly quiet and keep to ourselves, but we are by no means unfriendly or antisocial.

We’re hoping to find a housemate who is easy going, friendly, quiet, clean but not anal retentively so, and can pay bills on time. A one year lease would be preferable, but the landlord is willing to consider a lease through December.

Here are the apartment basics:
- room is 11x12
- shared kitchen and bathroom
- free laundry in basement
- off-street parking spot
- 10 minutes walk to Davis along bike path
- 10 minutes walk to Porter
- small back yard
- enclosed porch
- hard wood floors
- There are 2 cats in residence, and there is room for one more

I don't need a room, but I am a graphic and web designer who needs programmers occasionally, and I am moving close to Davis in September. I'd love to chat and see if we might be able to work together.

mostly PHP/mySQL stuff (blogs, backends, online stores, etc.). I had a couple of people that I would call on occasion, but at least one has been flaky at best.
