The Phoenix wrote a really good article back in 1999 about all the different coffee shops in Davis (http://www.bostonphoenix.com/archive/features/99/06/24/COFFEE.html) (this was back when Starbucks was just moving in). If you like coffee, and a real variety of places to drink it, Davis is definitely the place to be IMHO.
