Pottery place nearby

Hi all,

A friend of mine is looking for a do-your-own-pottery place, and I seem to remember there being one on Mass Ave somewhere. Where is it and what's it called? Am I wrong? If so, does anyone know where I can find one? I don't think that Spark in Davis has pottery, but I could be wrong.

There is also a place near the Capital Theatre in Arlington. It is on the rights before you get to Lake Street if you are heading up Mass Ave to Arlington Center.

Spark does not have pottery.

Mudflat in East Somerville might fit your needs. Mudville is in the same neighborhood, a few blocks away.

Are you looking for "paint your own" or actual wheelthrowing/handbuilding? Though a lot of places have already been covered, there's a tremendous amount of difference in the experiences.

Ah, k. For what it's worth, if you decide to go the latter route, Mudflat has fantastic instruction, but the space can get a little crowded.
