I'm aware of that. However, not everybody else is, and I figure it's better to provide relevant information in a single post, rather than expect everyone to have read all the previous ones.
I didn't want to *really* soapbox - I figure people can sort out this stuff for themselves but I thought I would register that not everyone here (or in Somerville) is against 5 + 6.

You need to be x number of feet away so as to not intimidate voters.
On the other hand if you had a warmup jacket with the abbreviation for number and a 6 on the back you could subliminally influence the person behind you in line:
Anyone carrying any kind of sign has to stay a certain distance away from the entrance to the building where the polling station is. I do not know the exact distance. Usually there is a police officer to enforce this limit.
