REMINDER!

The Circlet Press Fundraising Party is Saturday night (11/4), 6pm-midnight, at 39 Hurlbut St. in Cambridge. We are a 10-minute walk from the Porter Square T-stop and 20 minutes from Harvard Square.

Circlet Press publishes erotic science fiction and fantasy books. We will have plenty of books, including several rare/out of print books and many cheap "hurt" books, available for sale. We accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards!

If you can't party with us (or you're just too shy), but you still want to support a local business, you can donate via PayPal through the Circlet Donations web page or print out this nice PDF, fill it out, and mail us a check, money order, or credit card information. Donations of ANY size, no matter how small, are still very helpful.

I'm sorry that I don't have anything productive to say right now, other than, "Hee hee! Hurlbut!"

In my own defense I can only offer the lateness of the hour.

Although now that I know where you are, I'll have to come pay you folks a visit. Hopefully donations that allow one to walk off with stuff are also acceptable.

I have a mild form of aphasia and one day when I couldn't remember "Hurlbut" I WAS able to spew out "Fling Ass" which worked almost as well and had the bonus of making people laugh.

Buying stuff is a great way to help us make money.

As for stopping by, it's a private residence (and it's not mine, it belongs to the folks who own Circlet Press). It would be easier, if you wanted to look at and buy some books, to make an appointment (email me, kjc@circlet.com). Or you can pick them out online and drop us an order. Or you can find several of our books at Pandemonium (http://www.pandemoniumbooks.com/) in Central Square.

I got the email, and was a tad worried that the "cash bar" might be outside the laws a bit, for a one-time event held in a private residence. But it's OK?

Um, well, perhaps it would have been better described as a bar with liquor and suggested donations for each type of alcohol (or soda, or bottled water). Fruit juice and tap water were free - and if you mentioned you were the designated driver, we complimented your excellent sensibilities.

In any case, it was last night, it went really well, and we didn't get busted.
