I have a number of spices where they either came in a nice bottle but lack a shaker top, or they came in a plastic bottle and after frequent use the shaker top keeps getting caught inside the cap when you open it.

It occurs to me that if these screw-tops are in a few standard sizes, there ought to be a kit somewhere where you could get some nice stainless tops to replace the stock lids with. ( I could just get a nice set of glass shakers but don't relish the idea of doing a "spice transplant" )

I'd check China Fair on Mass Ave by Russell. I don't know if they have the tops without the jars, but it might be worth a try.

Id check the Restaraunt Depot in Chelsea. Unfortunately its members only but they may offer day passes like Costco does. You should be able to google them.

You can get cheap empty glass spice jars from the Christmas Tree Shops.
