On an only peripherally related note, it looks like the city got the go ahead for piles of infrastructure work (http://www.ci.somerville.ma.us/NewsDetail.cfm?instance_id=1007), starting with Union Square.

They should use the extra money to snowblow the damn sidewalks.

People are required to clear the snow from the sidewalks outside where they live. Actually, if they also cleaned the gutter, we wouldn't need to keep sweeping them and moving our cars.

On a sidenote I was pissed to find out that the parking office is closed today. It'll probably lead to another damn ticket. I know it's patriot's day, but that place is frigging soul-eating. I've been there like 6 times and still haven't gotten my permit.
