Once again the dead will rise in Davis Square, shuffle around for a bit, and then head to The Cellar for a pint. It's happening on Saturday, May 12th (yeah, this Saturday) at 6:30 PM gathering in Davis. For those that missed it last year, it was a freakin' awesome good time. It's a refreshing change of pace from marching for things that matter, and if you want to skip the bar and bring your kids, they'll look really cute as zombies, I promise. Do I remember that there was a counterprotest last year? People with ZOMBIES GO HOME signs and stuff like that? If anyone's gonna do that this year, I'd like to join up with it.

Do the people who run that website (halfwaytohuman.com) organize all the zombie marches in the area? I know there's usually a few of them each year.

The person who runs that website (Allison) is the same person who organized a march last year on April 29th, 2006. A few months before that one (like November or October, 2005 I think) there was another march that was tied to an indie zombie movie release that she had nothing to do with. Other than those three I don't know of any Boston zombie marches. There may have been others, but I don't think so.
