Parking on Sunday, 6/17

Anyone have an idea how easily I'm likely to find parking in the square tomorrow evening around 7:00 or so? (Going to Jimmy Tingle's.)

The prospects for that are never good here. Come by T or bus if you can. But if you can't there are usually spots up College Ave if you don't mind walking a few blocks.

Sunday evening should be easy, since resident parking restrictions are not in effect on Sundays. Park on any side street.

It's actually pretty easy to find parking on Sunday since permit parking isn't in effect, so you can park most anywhere. Though even finding a metered spot last night at 7pm (someone else's car who came in from out of town) was easy.

Also, JT's uses the parking lot at the VFW for extra parking, I think. (We parked right across the street from there at a meter, so I don't know if they were charging or not.)

Meters run until 8 pm in parking lots, but only until 6 pm on streets. You don't have to feed them on Sundays.

Yes, I know. We didn't feed it since it was 7pm, but it was still a meter spot.

Since you are going to the last show of "The Ego and the Oracle", perhaps you can ask the Oracle where the best free parking spots are in Davis Square.
