Looking for a good mechanic!
Aug. 11th, 2007 10:40 amMy 1999 Subaru crapped out on me today. Instead of starting, it makes a loud clicking noise. Can anyone recommend a decent "won't-rip-you-off and won't-do-a-shit-job" mechanic close to the Union/Davis Sq area? Many thanks in advance!

Date: 2007-08-12 09:31 pm (UTC)Anyway my default is Ari's, as mentioned above, though i also go to Teele Square Auto. I just throw my bike in the trunk and ride it home. The mechanic's name is Eli and he's been good to me twice now. The mechanic at Ari is probably just as good but he isn't as chatty as Eli, so i never got his name.

Date: 2007-10-09 04:41 pm (UTC)I am looking to get work done on my car and saw your referral for Mike's. If you email me your name, I can fill in a certificate that gets me a free oil change and gets you a $25 gift certificate. Send info to darkblacksky at yahoo dot com..
