davis_squareHere's a reminder that tomorrow (8/18) is the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...Recraft!" Fair in Union Square. There will be eco-friendly shopping, live music, free craft activities and local environmental organizations.
Saturday August 18th
3:00 - 7:00 pm
Outdoors at the Union Square Plaza, Somerville
-- 25 vendors selling eco-minded art, crafts and other goods
-- DIY activities: Decorate Your Own Reusable Grocery Bag, Make Your Own Disco Ball, Freestyle Crafting
-- Live music - The Blind King (3:00) The 'Mericans (4:30) Neptune (6:00)
(Neptune is known for their menacing-looking instruments forged out of circular saw blades, gas tanks, oil drums, bike parts, VCR casings and miscellaneous scrap metal found in the trash!)
