I'm looking for a good reasonably priced place to get a hair cut. I'm looking for someone that's good cutting short hair. Any recommendations?

I recommend Salon Cu in Ball Square. Haircuts are about $30? Also, all the ppl there (I've heard-I've only gone to Summer) do great short cuts. They have good reviews on Yelp!

I go to Keri at Amal Niccoli on Broadway. I think it's $35, and she does a great job with my thick, fine, cowlicky hair.

Yes, Umberto, formerly of Marios on Holland founded this one. He's fantabulous on short straight hair! I send all my straight haired friends there.

For curly hair, I'd also recommend Pepe, still of Marios on Holland.

Umberto, however, is cuter.

Ditto the rec. And, short cuts are only $20. (I think they say "men's cuts" are $20, but that's what they charge me.) I've seen Summer, Carlo, and Umberto, and I think they're all fab.

salon cu is great but they all tend to cut hair way shorter than you ask for, so be careful

I've heard good things about Judy Jetson's down near Porter, both from male and female friends with short hair, but haven't been myself.

I ended up getting in a slight argument over the price of the hair cut. They told me buzz cuts were $20 and I was $35. I think they ended up charging me $30, but it was a little weird. I liked the hair cut, but I might've made too much of a scene to come back. Stupid gendered hair cuts.
