Ahhh... that explains the Bunny band, the human statue, and the other music I could hear, but didn't bother looking for... I wondered if there was a holiday I was forgetting about.

You'll hear more of it this afternoon, as most of the bands (and a lot of other folks) are parading from Davis Square to Harvard, where we'll join the Oktoberfest.

While I was out taking pictures yesterday, the Honkfest folks handed me a slip of paper with instructions for uploading good photos to http://honkfest.ning.com/ . There appears to be a link to this from the honkfest.org front page.
