First there were firetrucks, then an ambulance, now there's cops. The cops, in particular, won't say what is going on, but I think there might've been a break-in next door. We're in the block between Highland and Summer--anyone know anything?

There *are* -- haven't you noticed? :)
I know for sure the firefighters are often sent as first responders for medical emergencies, because they have the basic training and can often get there faster than an ambulance.
