We're all probably sick of shovelling already, but if you haven't yet taken a few minutes to dig out any fire hydrants and storm drains near your place of residence or business, please consider doing so. Thanks.

Edit: [livejournal.com profile] ron_newman also points out that clearing a pedestrian path at the crosswalk if you live on a corner is just darn nice.

Gotcha. I'm not sure what constitutes as part of the sidewalk or what. I was forced to clean that part cause I couldn't tell with all of the snow where the street and sidewalk borders were, plus I live on a small street on a corner.

You are awesome for going that extra mile on behalf of strangers.

Thanks. It's a small, quiet area and I live on a corner--and given that there's tennis courts and playgrounds and such, a LOT of people jog, walk their dogs, et cetera... and no one's going to do anything about it.

The storm coming this weekend will make what's already on the ground worse, so I may be forced to shovel my entire driveway and not just the damned path I made all the way down it from the steps. This is going to suck but it's better than having no driveway until the spring.
