I would be very grateful to anyone who could find the storm drain at the corner of Lesley & Lexington. I spent over an hour hunting for it to no avail. This means that the water that has melted on Lesley Ave is just going to stay there and freeze tonight.
(Why doesn't the city flag the storm drains before winter? Who should I contact to suggest that?)
I recommend wearing ice cleats tomorrow if you're walking; it's not going to be pretty.

Date: 2007-12-17 12:58 am (UTC)There is a storm drain in front of my house and always make sure to clear it completely. But over at the corner, there is a deep, scary lake with nowhere to go and I have no idea where the nearest drain for it might be.
On foot, I think I'd prefer walking on a few inches of ice (with my Get-A-Grips, w00t) than sloshing through inches of slushy salt-watery muck.
