I have some canned goods, unopened rice and pasta, things like that which aren't going to get used in this household. Anyone know of a place accepting food donations? Thanks!
The Wainwright Bank branch in Davis has a box. And there are more suggestions in a previous post in this community (http://community.livejournal.com/davis_square/1050937.html).
I have found that generally Project Soup will gladly take such things. http://www.somervillehomelesscoalition.org/programs/Project%20Soup.html
I was told to just stop by any time they are open to drop stuff off. (Admittedly "stop[ping] by any time they are open" may be challenging for those with a 9-5 job, but maybe you could work something else out if this is an issue?)
