Feel free to point and laugh at my family for being procrastinators, but...where in the area can one still get an xmas tree?

The place at Foss Park where we've gone in the past (run by Somerville schools?) seemed deserted this afternoon, although there were still some trees sitting around with price tags on, which was kind of odd....

TIA!

While I was on the 96 bus today, I saw some people selling Christmas trees on Mass Ave. I think it was between Porter and Harvard, but I'm not sure exactly where.

That would be at the church right up almost at Porter, on the righthand side of the street if you're coming from Harvard.

I thought Lesley had bought that and it was no longer a church? Maybe they still get to sell trees, though.

I don't think they've started the construction yet, so the tree thingie wouldn't be in the way.

They well might have; it still looks like a church to me when I pass it and I never remember to read the sign. But yes, there still are trees sold in the front yard of whatever it now is :).

Not sure if they're still there, but the Boy Scouts sell trees on Cameron right by where the bike path comes out to cross Mass Ave.

I ran by this afternoon and they were selling them there. Don't know if they will be there tomorrow.

I got mine at Pemberton Farms on Mass Ave in Cambridgethe other day. They still had some.

Is a tonne 1.1 tons? ;-)

I saw a minivan near Inman Sq. tonight with a tree tied to its roof, so they must have gotten it somewhere.

I refuse to submit to your degenerate Americanisms. :-P Would you prefer if I'd called it a megagram?

also, Hallowe'en has an apostrophe.

Next you'll be insisting it's spelled "realise" as opposed to the correct way, with a zed. :-)

Which is called Ricky's Flower Market.

Your userpic intrigues me, by the way.

They still seem to have trees at Bonny's Garden Center, on Bay State Road over by Alewife, if you don't mind going a bit farther afield.
