Dec. 25th, 2007 12:25 pmOne dog at the shelter I volunteer at (Hopkinton, MA) is in great need of a foster home (a home to stay in till she's adopted)-it's a no-kill shelter anyway, but she's been there the longest (like, months-the big majority only stay there for a couple weeks), and really needs a home environment ASAP...
Really sweet dog (I've walked her), pit bull or pit bull blend (seriously, this one is not aggressive)...obviously pit bulls are not popular choices, with good reason in many cases, and she's not the cutest one there by a long shot, so of course it's taking longer for her to find a home.
Anyway, if you have room to have another dog in your house for "awhile", without actually committing for life, that would be so nice for her, and she is a sweet dog. Obviously you can come check her out first!
I would do it myself, but my living situation isn't too amenable to having a dog, and I'm not home enough anyway-but those who are, especially if you already have dogs anyway...
If you might be able to do it, or know someone that would, please post or email me (suehenken@hotmail.com), and I'll give you all the info-thanks!

Date: 2007-12-25 05:58 pm (UTC)We adopted our youngest cat from Hopkinton, and really liked the shelter; you rock for volunteering there. :) Sadly, my husband's way allergic to dogs, so I can't take this one in. :( Good luck!
