This morning at around 7:40 my wife was hit by a green car while she was crossing the street at the intersection of Highland Ave. and Trull Ln. She knows that an older man (jogger?) helped her up. She was in shock and left the scene before police and paramedics could arrive. We are looking for any information anyone might have regarding the car that hit her. If you think you can help please contact Olex Tatro at 617.629.9858 or email otatro at gmail dot com

Thanks.

I hope she's better soon. Please take her to a doctor, to make sure there aren't any injuries that need treatment.

Good luck and best wishes, I hope you find some information. Are there any buildings with security cameras nearby, by any chance?

Has she talked with the police already? It's important that she do that as soon as possible, because it's easy to forget details.

I'd also put up some signs around the area, asking people who were in the neighborhood at that time to contact you.

She should have waited for the police and the paramedics. I know it was cold, but this was a hit and run (that's a felony, I believe) and she's in pain...she should be in hospital - you never know what could have happened that hasn't manifested itself yet.

You should take her to the ER ASAP. And, call the cops.

Yeah, I watch a lot of Law & Order/CSI shows, and they're always showing how someone walks away from something and then passes out in an entirely different environment, and no one knows why. I just saw one last night where a person died of smoke inhalation...hours later, when she was in the shower, started coughing violently, passed out and hit her head on the faucet when she fell. Science is just fascinating that way. And scary.

Glad she's okay...and that she's been checked out, too. Anything involving something that...big...I mean, getting hit by a car that doesn't even stop! Wow. I don't know what I'd do if it happened to me (and it well could, as I'm a pedestrian).

I'd be interested to hear what the cops have to say...

That's awful! I hope she's okay. Like others said, get her checked out and call the police. Maybe see if any businesses nearby saw anything? I'm not familiar with Trull, so I don't know it's residential or not.

It's a tiny alley off Highland Avenue. The area is mostly residential, but that corner has a Legion post, a church, and a Masonic hall (probably none of which were open that early in the morning).

Yikes! Hope she feels better soon. And I hope you find whoever hit her.
