Are you Missing a Grey Cat??

Found in Davis Sq today, January 7 at approx 3:15 pm, older, large Grey kitty.  Very friendly but wants to go home.

Seems like he might have an injury or arthritis in hind legs/hips.   A Good Samaritan turned him in to Animal Control.  If you are missing a kitty that matches this description, please contact Somerville Animal Control.

I saw A poster in Blue shirt regarding a missing grey cat in the area.

it's a bright yellow sign. i believe they're offering a $500 reward for that cat.

This kitty was (I believe) on Rice St on Friday, in the AM.

I am not familiar with Rice St. What is that off of?

Google doesn't think there is a Rice Street in Somerville at all, just the one in North Cambridge. The index of the official Somerville city map doesn't show such a street, either.

Correct - Rice St is in Cambridge, not Somerville. However, it's less than a mile from Davis Square, and could well be within the cat's walking radius.

It's off of Massachusetts Ave, right next to Frank's Steak House.

There were Missing Cat signs alonge College Ave by Tufts in Medford for a cat named "Kwame"--they've been up for a while, though, maybe a couple months. The cat in the picture was shorthair, mostly grey with white bits underneath.

He is entirely grey, not a speck of white. thank you for posting, though. it never hurts to make an attempt.

This kitty has been returned to his family. It turns out he escaped when someone working on the house left the door open. Thank you to the good samaritans who called animal control, it turns out this guy is 20 yrs old and almost completely deaf. He was VERY happy to be reunited with his family.
