Car inspections - evening hours?

Can anyone recommend a car inspection place that has evening hours?  Does such a thing even exist?  I checked the memories, but didn't see anything about services after 5:00.

Jack's Gas goes until 6pm. Not exactly "evening hours", but it's after 5pm and close to Davis (on Mass Ave, near Cameron).

Jack's is also incredibly fast and efficient with inspections. So if you show up between 5pm and 6pm, you'll probably be served. The hardest part will be pulling in and out from Mass Ave.

I love Jack's. Last time I was there, the owner (who looks the part, big guy with a well-abused uniform) was on his cell phone making plans for weekend antiquing trip. Have I mentioned this here already? It just gave me a big smile, somehow. Also, the speed at which I've been in and out for inspections and oil changes makes me smile.

Well... I had a much different experience with Jacks Gas and Inspections. I went there about 5 years ago for an inspection and after waiting well over an hour ( they have no waiting room ) my car failed the emissions portion of the test ( not their fault ). They guy I dealt with acted like this was his big chance to make a lot of money off me for repairs. He cited a long list of suggested repairs for big money that may or may not fix the problem. To be blurt, he was a total ass about it, acting like he was now the person who decides if I will ever drive this car again. I left with my rejected sticker. Later I want to another repair place and was told that if I replaced my catalytic converter there was a 90% chance my car would pass the inspection. I did replace the converter and my car passed, no problem.

Broadway Gas at the corner of Broadway and Prospect in Inman Square goes until 6, maybe 7.

If it helps, I think there are lots of stations who have saturday hours. I'm thinking specifically of the small station (usually cheapest gas around, by the way) at the corner of Craigie and Somerville Ave. I'm drawing a blank on the name right now, though, sorry!
