I got an old 8mm camera for Christmas this year and need to buy some film for it. Is there somewhere close to Davis where I can purchase some? I'd like to stay local if I can.

Thanks!

As in an 8mm motion picture camera? Wow.

Honestly, I'm not sure you can still get 8mm film in the United States. There aren't even that many processing labs left for it in the world. I would contact Kodak and Fuji directly to see what local dealers would have.

I'd probably start by walking into Cameras Inc. and seeing if they have a recommendation.

Don't know where you can get the film (let alone getting it processed) around here - though I am sure there is *some place* in the world - might have to do it over the net.

I have a working 8mm projector you can have if you want it.

Is this an 8mm or super 8mm? I know Kodak brought back super 8mm cartridges a little while ago. But regular 8mm might need to be a custom job.
