Proposals due on Friday!

This is the last time I'll post, I promise! We're hoping to receive a few more proposals before the deadline on Friday.

REMINDER: PROPOSALS ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 15th!



Do you sing, dance, act or play an instrument? Are you a comedian, a slam poet, a spoken word master? How about juggling, belly dancing or something a little more off-kilter? We are looking for acts of all kinds to perform in a variety show. Whatever you do best, we would love to see it!

SomerVaudeville is an opportunity for you to strut your stuff at Johnny D's in the heart of Davis Square! What better way to get exposure for your talents than to show off in front of a local audience? The show will take place on one weeknight only in late May or early June (exact date to be determined by Johnny D's). There will be all-cast rehearsals in the Davis Square area on 3/27, 4/28 and 5/15, but each act will be responsible for its own individual rehearsals.

Acts will be chosen through a two-step audition process:
1) Contact us for a proposal form to fill out and return by February 15th. auditions@theatreatfirst.org
2) We will contact you to set up an audition on either March 16th or March 20th.

The actual audition is your chance to show us a short sample of your work -- not the finished product, but something that will give us an idea of what your act will be like.
