I'm afraid I can't make Tuesdays, since I'm at work, but enjoy yourselves.

(does this conflict with the large poly gathering at Diesel on Tuesdays? You might lose peeps to that)

As it is, the dates that are currently up means it'll be may before I can attend again, maybe, so I figured I'd mention it.

Careful mentioning that -- you may get more people encouraging the conflict than discouraging it. ;)

But I don't think it's an issue, in any case. People can easily do both, and there also hasn't been a ton of overlap in attendees. And any night is a conflict with *something*.

I dunno. Since I work Tuesdays, I have an excuse not to go to the poly thing, and I don't know when it peters out. But I enjoyed the Davis Square gathering and since it'll be months before I can attend with the date choices, I thought I'd say :-)

Do you guys allow newbies? I'm moving to Davis in 8 days (and am really excited)..and really would like to get involved, and learn about what's going on with my new neighborhood. If anyone has any advice, or tips in the mean time..i'd appreciate them as well.

- Wander into Diesel, McIntyre & Moore, Starbucks, Farmer's Bounty, JP Licks, and other establishments, and read the notices that are posted on their bulletin boards.
- Read the paper or online Somerville Journal, Somerville News, and Powderhouse newspapers.
