davis_squareHey Livejournal! I have a totally amazing room in a rad apartment that is available May 1st OR SOONER! Only 15 minute walk from Davis Sq!
The apartment is on Lowell st in Somerville, right off of Medford st and highland ave!
it's 15 min walk from Davis T stop and a 10 minute bus ride from the
Lechmere T stop (so that's red and green line, AND BUS TO ORANGE LINE access!)
it's two bedrooms, the one open is of a good size! you can fit a full size bed, desk, drawers and a bookshelf with no problem!
heat and hot water are included, electricity is not but it's never much
I have digital cable and wireless internet. that's about $100 per
month, split ($50 each!). but if you're really against stuff, I could either pay
more for the cable part or downgrade our digital package
everything is clean and works great, including the food disposal and
dishwasher, and there is air conditioning!! And laundry in the building!
the bathroom has a great shower and bathtub and excellent water pressure, and there is a brand new sink!
Rent is $590 per person
it's fully furnished with brightly colored things. and my books. lots
of awesome books.
There is a parking spot that we get for free. right now it's just used
when friends come over but if you have a car, you can park there.
About me:
I'm 24 and I'm a little punk rock and a lot eccentric, but I keep pretty stable hours. I am very quiet when others are sleeping, and I never bring random people over during times that it would be a problem.
I work retail (in Davis sq) and am a writer, and I work at the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday nights!
I am very GLBT friendly!
While I'm a huge mess in my room (I admit it!), it really doesn't spill over to the
livingroom and other areas. The living room is fully furnished and has a TV, a super
comfy couch, two tables and a second bonus couch!
The area is good too! We have SEVERAL tasty Chinese restaurants around the apartment, a great Italian restaurant, a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts and a CVS and 7-11.
You are:
Over 21! Sorry, but I've had bad experiences with people under 21 in the past, and I'd rather have someone who can sign their own legal documents and such, and not worry about underage drinking etc etc.
Awesome and open minded!
Not a neat freak but not a total slob either. The apartment is pretty neat, but there's some "clutter" such as piles of books or comic books or a stray videogame system on the floor. If you're the type who requires absolute perfect cleanliness, I don't think we'd get along.
Apt rules:
this is not a party apartment. if you have parties or large gatherings, this isn't the place for you.
but I am pretty snazzy and am definitely looking for someone who'd enjoy hanging out!
no smoking in the apartment. ever. Landlord's rules, not mine
no pets.
