Upcoming Neighborhood ResiStat Meetings

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted you all to have the latest update of upcoming ResiStat Community Meetings.  If you didn't see my previous post, these meetings are a chance for residents to ask questions and get information directly from Somerville City Officials, and then give feedback.  Resident feedback helps set the City's priorities, especially as we begin to create the budget for the new fiscal year.  Please pass this info on to your friends and neighbors -- we need your help to make sure there is a broad range of perspectives at every meeting!

The next Somerville Parents ResiStat Meeting will be:
Saturday, March 8 at 11AM
John F. Kennedy School, 5 Cherry Street
Focus will be on Parks, Libraries, and public spaces.

I don't see Davis Square on that list...did I miss it?

No - we just don't have a meeting currently scheduled for Davis Square. ResiStat is still in its toddlerhood and we don't have the whole City covered yet.

To some extent, it seems to me that the Davis Square Task Force meetings do for our neighborhood what ResiStat is trying to do for other areas.

One data point that I'd like you to bring back to City Hall: whenever there's a snowstorm, the city should clear the sidewalk in front of the Day Street municipal parking lot. We should not have to send a 311 request each time.
