I am applying for an apartment in a converted church in the Union Square area. However, before finalizing the lease, I would like to get an authoritative sense of the historical prices for utilities in the space, given the rather unusual dimensions and concerns over heating costs.

I've looked at NStar's website, but come up with little information on finding this historical usage data. Does anyone have any suggestions?

(Apologies if this isn't strictly Davis related. Union is close, and I assume this is useful across both communities, but I will repost elsewhere at a moderator's request.)

If you call NStar on the phone, they'll give you info on the gas and electric history of the unit. Keyspan (at least sometimes) asks for authorization from the owner, but NStar has always just given it to me.

(Is it 60 Tufts you're looking at?)

I'll guess 1 Summer, then, which is much close to Union, but I have a client in 60 Tufts so I've been in there more and think of it first. Both very cool buildings, in any case. I love nicely done church conversions.

Good luck!

is it 17 bow?

I know someone who just moved out of that former church and could make an inquiry if you'd like.
