Turn your lights off, neighbors!

8pm to 9 pm, a small gesture to help spread awareness regarding energy consumption. Also, this is your chance to take that candle lit bath, or snuggle your significant other and picture your fantasy-person of choice. Don't let it go to waste!

Did Cambridge or Somerville turn off the street lights and traffic lights for an hour? (I was in Arlington this evening, so I have no idea how either city observed this event.)

Not that I could see, no. The street lights on Day St were on, but I didn't walk around the neighborhood much.
