Through our project supporting Transition House, a Cambridge shelter for the victims of domestic violence, we have become aware of an immediate need for three cribs for three newborn babies residing in the shelter with their mothers. If anyone has a crib they no longer need and would like to donate it to a worthy organization, please contact us. We ask that it meets the safety requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission which is found on their website: www.cpsc.gov . In addition, there is need for items such as baby blankets, crib sheets, baby towels, bibs, diaper bags, and
snugglies(carriers).

If you wish to make a gift of such items, for which you will receive a tax deductable donation voucher from Transition House, please contact:

Awwww! Sure you want to encourage me, though? I'm constantly alerted to the altogether reasonable needs of my neighbors - I had to think hard about whether to post this, but I'll try not to pass along enough such requests to burn anybody out.
