Can any recommend a place where two attractive, charming, and witty kids could go for a few hours to play scrabble while also drinking various liquids with intoxicating properties? This would be for tomorrow night though, which is why I'm checking (saturdays tend to maybe frown on such things, yes?) Any Camberville/Red Line spot would be fine, but I'm thinking Other Side Cafe might be the best bet. Davis to Central is the ideal though.

(Note: A travel scrabble is in hand)

My place?

The trouble is that we're in Puritan country, so serving alcohol is a Big Deal and needs to be Properly Limited. Hmm... I think Mike's would be a good choice. Casual and sufficiently lit.

Great to meet you Wednesday, btw. I'll take you on over 100 tiles anytime.

there is always scrabble to be played at the Davis Square monthly game night. In fact, I always bring two extra sets!

My sweetie and I spent several happy hours on a couch in Orleans yesterday, with me reading and him writing. As long as business is slow, I'd guess that they wouldn't mind a game of Scrabble.

The independent has various board games in the bar. It won't be quiet, but they will have no problem with you playing there.
