Details:
-located near the intersection of Elm & Somerville
-$950/month is what we pay and the rent hasn't been raised for the 2.5 years we've lived here Just talked with the landlord and they are raising the rent to $1025, still a good price!
-utilities come out to around $65 cable/internet, $45 electric
-first floor apartment (3 units in the 'complex')
-there is a small backyard if you are a gardener I'm sure something could be worked out
-the apartment is modest (we guess ~400 ft2?) 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (with tub), living room and a kitchen (with gas stove/oven)
-landlord has been responsive about fixing problems in the past and the apartment is fairly well maintained
-on-street parking is easy to find in the neighborhood
We've been here for 2.5 years and are very happy with the space and location. I'm starting graduate school in June in Southern California so we are breaking lease and hoping to avoid fees by lining up someone to take the apartment. Leave a reply and we'll be happy to show you around some evening or put you in contact with the landlord!
We're posting to LJ first and then craigslist. At this price and location the apartment should go fast!
