Sounds of a commute!
Apr. 15th, 2008 01:16 pmI did my usual routine today of traveling from Davis Square to Kendall via good ole red, when I saw something in this morning's Metro that may be of interest to my fellow Davis Square inhabitants. Apparently, a student from Tufts who has taken the train from Davis to Park Street was inspired and made a musical composition based on sounds of the commute (i.e. the noises that the train makes) lasting 17 minutes - the exact length of the trip. The piece is called "Inbound" and it's part of program tonight called "Longitude" at Pickman Hall at Longy School of Music. It's at 8pm, and it's free! Maybe I'll see some there!
