So, has anybody seen the Passover ( real sugar instead of corn syrup ) Coca-Cola in the grocery stores?

Last time I went to Stop and Shop in Malden and they had tons of it, in the "seasonal" aisle (on the advice of b0st0n, btw). But I was there last weekend and didn't see any. Anyone been there more recently, or seen it a little closer to home?

I haven't seen any of it at the shaws in porter...

Very sad.

I bought some in the Shaw's on Beacon Street weeks ago. I suspect they're out of it by now.

This is probably not useful to you, but I got some in the Lexington Stop & Shop on Friday. (I live in Somerville, but work in Lexington.)

Last year, my friend who worked for Coke got me 2 cases. But that's probably of little use to you, and besides, he doesn't work for Coke anymore.

I just came back from Somerville Stop and Shop, they don't have it either.

I wonder what kosher cocaine would entail...

The Lexington Stop & Shop has a rather decent kosher selection....for being in the suburbs, that is.

I have noted that the kosher selection at most grocery stores is quite pillaged right about now. Very sad.

Union Square. There's a bodega right near the bus stop (at the end of the block) that imports their Coke from Brazil, it's in glass bottles and has sugar in it.

A local friend of mine was recently lamenting the dearth of KFP Coke this year. Weird. Guess they didn't make as much this year.

running out of everything!

Or it could be that because Passover fell on a weekend, many more Jews decided to have a Seder? I couldn't find a lamb shank in time, because everywhere I went, "we just sold the last one!"

Mmm. KFP Cola.

All sold out by the weekend before last. People seemed very organized about seder planning this year.

There was still some KFP diet Coke at Market Basket in Union Square on Sunday, but no KFP Coke left.

s'ville stores have almost nothing for passover

super stop and shop had a couple of boxes of matzah.
Porter, usually the best in the area, has a section that's about 20% of what they used to have before the remodel.
Beacon st has nothing.

More Jews than ever in the area.

What gives?

You were slow.

Seriously, everyone bought everything way early this year.

The sections are smaller than ever before

Even if the stuff was sold out, there wasn't much space alotted.
Also, for anyone else who buys late, most s'ville stores sell their passover stuff at 50-75% off by day 3 - they think it's over. You wouldn't see that in the suburbs.

OMG, do they have Pepsi in glass bottles, too?? I've been looking!

I didn't notice, I don't generally buy Pepsi, but it certainly couldn't hurt to look.

Wait, did you need kosher Pepsi in glass bottles or just plain old Pepsi? If the latter, then look no further than Leo's Diner at Harvard Square.

Just plain old Pepsi. Thank you!

This is a bit late, but there were a whole rack of KFP Coke bottles at the Shaws in Watertown (Mt. Auburn corner of Belmont) yesterday.

Well, I can't claim I was looking for it, I just stumbled across it.
