Where to get kosher Coke?
Apr. 19th, 2008 12:07 pmSo, has anybody seen the Passover ( real sugar instead of corn syrup ) Coca-Cola in the grocery stores?
Last time I went to Stop and Shop in Malden and they had tons of it, in the "seasonal" aisle (on the advice of b0st0n, btw). But I was there last weekend and didn't see any. Anyone been there more recently, or seen it a little closer to home?

Date: 2008-04-20 04:48 am (UTC)I have noted that the kosher selection at most grocery stores is quite pillaged right about now. Very sad.

Date: 2008-04-24 12:56 am (UTC)Though the community keeps finding troves of it in improbable places, like Malden one year, somebody found it in Watertown this year further down in the thread...

Date: 2008-04-21 08:22 pm (UTC)There was still some KFP diet Coke at Market Basket in Union Square on Sunday, but no KFP Coke left.
s'ville stores have almost nothing for passover
Date: 2008-04-21 10:11 pm (UTC)Porter, usually the best in the area, has a section that's about 20% of what they used to have before the remodel.
Beacon st has nothing.
More Jews than ever in the area.
What gives?
Re: s'ville stores have almost nothing for passover
Date: 2008-04-22 01:21 am (UTC)Seriously, everyone bought everything way early this year.
The sections are smaller than ever before
Date: 2008-04-22 01:28 am (UTC)Also, for anyone else who buys late, most s'ville stores sell their passover stuff at 50-75% off by day 3 - they think it's over. You wouldn't see that in the suburbs.
