Shaw Farm milk?
May. 3rd, 2008 11:32 amI've heard that Kickass cupcakes is now selling Shaw Farm milk. True? If it is, anyone know in what form (glass quarts, plastic quarts, plastic half gallons?), what kinds (skim, 2%, whole, cream-top, chocolate, strawberry, other?), and how much they're charging?
Thanks!
p.s. if they are selling and no one knows how much, I'll probably head over and find out today or tomorrow...

Date: 2008-05-03 04:53 pm (UTC)Glass quarts now, more & ice cream soon
Date: 2008-05-03 05:39 pm (UTC)Pints of milk (whole, banana, vanilla, chocolate, and possibly others)
Glass quarts of milk (whole, 2%, skim) - $1.75 plus 90cent bottle deposit
Glass quarts of heavy cream (you have to ask) - $5 plus 90cent bottle deposit
I believe prices are listed on their website (www.kickasscupcakes.com of course) Hours and phone number is definitely there.
Soon (when construction is finished) they will also be selling the whole line of Shaw's products (I believe that includes plastic half gallons; I know it includes ice cream) at the Dairy Bar next door.
Shaw's delivers to them on Wednesdays and they are closed on Mondays. Sarah has been doing a better job of keeping enough milk in stock, but she does have limited fridge space, so you shouldn't expect a full selection by Tuesdays.
(This week the skim milk is extra sweet; I wonder what tasty things the cows have been eating.)

Date: 2008-05-03 08:50 pm (UTC)Supposedly once they open the "milk bar" next door they'll have a wider range of Shaw Farm products -- I'm on the edge of my seat.
